KYN61-40.5KV High Voltage Withdrawable Switchgear

KYN61 air-insulated metal-clad withdrawable switchgear (hereinafter as “switchgear”) is a necessary indoor power distribution equipment in 40.5 kV 3-phase AC 50/60Hz.

Overview

KYN61-40.5KV High Voltage Withdrawable Switchgear is a MV air-insulated switchgear (AIS) for primary distribution, with vacuum circuit-breaker has been designed for the various operating requirements in public and industrial medium-voltage distribution systems.

This panel applies to 27~40.5kv 3 phase AC 50Hz / 60Hz network for receiving and distributing power energy and also for control,monitor and protection. It can be arranged for single bus, single-bus sectionalizing system.

It accords to IEC62271-200, IEC694, GB3906<<3~35KV AC Metal Enclosed Switchgear>>, DL404, DIN.VDE0670 and so on. It has perfect and reliable prevention function against false-operation.

Main characteristic
  1. Cabinet structure adopts assembly type, circuit breaker adopts handcart floor type structure;
  2. Fitted with completely new type of composite insulation of vacuum circuit breaker, and has good compatibility and replace simply characteristic;
  3. Handcart frame is provided with a screw nut propelling mechanism, which can be easily moved by the hand cart, and can prevent the damage of the pushing structure from the misoperation;
  4. All operations can be carried out when the door closed;
  5. Main switch, trolley, interlock between switchgear door adopts the mandatory mechanical locking to meet “five protection” function;
  6. The space of cable room is ample, and can connect a plurality of cables;
  7. The quickly earth switch for grounding and line circuit short circuit;
  8. Shell protection class IP3X, when handcart room door opening , protection level IP2X; 9. Products comply with IEC62271-200 ,GB 3906-2006, DL/T 404-2007 and reference to the standard of international IEC 298.

  7. Ambient environment: no fire, explosion danger, serious pollution, chemical corrosion and severe vibration place.
Special working conditions

  1. The effect on the insulation level of a reduction in the strength of the air medium has been taken into account when the installation site is at an altitude of more than 1000 m above sea level.
  2. If the ambient temperature exceeds the limit values, the design of busbars and branch busbars needs to be compensated or the current-carrying capacity needs to be limited. Installation of ventilation devices in the cabinet will facilitate the heat dissipation of the switchgear.

Internal Structure

The enclosure and partitions of the switchgear are made of high-quality steel plates, which are highly resistant to oxidation and corrosion, and the rigidity and mechanical strength of the enclosure are higher than those of ordinary mild steel plates.

The top of the three high-voltage chambers are equipped with pressure release panels. When there is an internal fault, the air pressure inside the high-voltage chamber rises, and since the cabinet door has been sealed, the high-pressure gas will punch through the pressure release plate to release it.

The adjacent switchgear is separated by its own side panels, and there is still an air cushion behind the collocation of the cabinets, which prevents the switchgear from being melted by the fault arc penetration.

Low-voltage compartment A is assembled as a separate compartment from the high-voltage area. The partitions separating breaker compartment B and cable compartment D prevent the operator from touching the live parts in busbar compartment C and cable compartment D, even if the breaker trolley is removed (the flap closes automatically at this point).

The horizontal partition can be removed by removing the fastening bolts, allowing easy installation of the cable sealing terminals.
