GGD type AC low-voltage distribution refuses to comply with EC439 “low-voltage complete sets of switchgear and control equipment”, GB7251 “low-voltage complete sets of switchgear” and other standards.

Working Conditions
  1. Ambient air temperature: -30℃~+50℃ and the average temperature should not exceed +50℃ in 24h.
  2. Indoor altitude above sea level: Maximum installation altitude: 2500m.
  3. Relative humidity should not exceed 50% at max temperature +40℃. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperature. Ex. 90% at +20℃. But in view of the temperature change, it is possible that moderate dews will produce casually.
  4. No fire, explosion danger, serious pollution, chemical corrosion and severe vibration.
  5. Installation gradient not exceed 5°.
  6. The equipment shall be installed in a place where there is no violent vibration and impact, and the place where the electrical components are not corroded.
  7. Any specific requirement, consult with manufacture.
Electrical properties

1. Main circuit scheme

The main circuit scheme is for the design requirements of the power sector, the reactive power capacitor conpensation device ,so as to improve the active power ,reduce the reactive power and make the factor above 0.9.

2. Selection of electrical components

  • The GGD cabinet mainly adopts advanced electrical components , but also according to the economic and reasonable principle, retain some of the available old DZ20 in full consideration of the feasibility of the premise, such as BRM1, do not use obsolete products.
  • As the design department according to user needs, with more excellent performance, new electrical components, more advanced technology, because the GGD cabinet installation flexibility good, generally will not cause the difficulty of manufacturing and installation of the update for the electrical components.
  • In order to further improve the dynamic stability of the main circuit, NLS designed the ZMJ type bus GGD cabinet special clamp and insulating support parts. Bus clamp is made of high strength, high flame retardant Pp0 alloy material, thermoplastic molding, high insulating strength, self extinguishing performance, unique structure, only need to adjust the block between the block easily combined into a single or double busbar busbar clamp clamp, insulating support sleeve is molded structure, low cost, high strength, the old product creepage distance is not defective.

◆ Main circuit scheme

The main circuit of GGD cabinet is designed with 129 schemes, totaling 298 specifications (excluding the schemes and specifications derived from the function change of auxiliary circuits and the change of control voltage).

Among them: GGD1 type 49 programs 123 specifications, GGD2 type 53 programs 107 specifications, GGD3 type 27 programs and 68 specifications.

The main circuit scheme was selected after consulting the opinions of the design and use departments, and the scheme required by the power plant was added. The rated current is increased to 3200A, which is suitable for distribution transformers of 2000kVA and below. In addition, GGJ1-GGJ2 capacitor compensation cabinets are designed to meet the needs of reactive power compensation, with 4 main circuit schemes and 12 specifications.

◆ Auxiliary circuit program

The design of auxiliary circuit is divided into two parts: power supply scheme and power plant scheme. There is enough space in GGD cabinet to install primary and secondary components.

◆Electrical components selection

GGD cabinet mainly adopts more advanced electrical components, such as DW45, CM1, NM1, etc. Meanwhile, according to the principle of economy and reasonableness, it also retains part of the available old products and so on under the premise of fully considering the feasibility. No obsolete products were selected.

HD13BX and HS 13BX rotary operated knife switch to meet the needs of the unique structure of the GGD cabinet and the design of special components, which changes the operation of the mechanism, retaining the advantages of the old products, is a practical new type of electrical components.

If the design department selects new electrical components with better performance and more advanced technology according to the user’s needs, the GGD cabinet has good installation flexibility, which generally will not cause manufacturing and installation difficulties due to updating the electrical components.

In order to further improve the dynamic stability of the main circuit, with GGD cabinet special ZMJ-type combination of busbar clamps and insulation support. Busbar clamps by high-strength, highly flame-retardant PP0 alloy thermoplastic molding, high dielectric strength, self-extinguishing performance, unique structure, just need to adjust the blocks between the block can be easily combined into a single busbar clamps or double busbar clamps, insulating support when the sleeve-type molded structure, low-cost, high-strength, to solve the defects of the old product creepage distance is not enough.

  • The cabinet of GGD type AC low-voltage distribution cabinet adopts the type of general-purpose cabinet, and the frame is assembled by local welding of 8MF cold-formed steel, and the frame parts and special supporting parts are supplied by the designated steel manufacturer to ensure the precision and quality of the cabinet. The parts of the universal cabinet are designed according to the modular principle, and there are 20-mold mounting holes. The high coefficient of generalization enables the factory to realize pre-production, which not only shortens the production and manufacturing cycle, but also improves the working efficiency.
  • The design of GGD cabinet takes into full consideration of the heat dissipation problem in the operation of the cabinet. There are different numbers of heat dissipation slot holes at the upper and lower ends of the cabinet, when the electrical components inside the cabinet heat up, the heat rises and is discharged through the .
    GGD cabinet according to the requirements of modern industrial product modeling design, using the golden ratio of the method of designing the cabinet body and the division of each part of the size, so that the whole cabinet is beautiful and elegant, a new look.
  • The cabinet door is connected with the frame by pivot movable hinges, which is easy to install and dismantle, and the folded edges of the door are embedded with a mountain-type rubber molding strips, and the embedded strips between the door and the frame have a certain compression stroke when the door is closed, which prevents the door from colliding with the cabinet and improves the protection level of the door.
  • The instrument door with electrical components is connected to the frame with multi-strand soft copper wire, and the mounting parts inside the cabinet are connected to the frame with knurled screws, so that the whole cabinet constitutes a complete grounding protection circuit.
  • The surface of the cabinet is sprayed, with strong adhesion and good texture, and the whole cabinet is in matte color, avoiding the glare effect and creating a more comfortable visual environment for the personnel on duty.
  • The top cover of the cabinet can be dismantled when needed, which is convenient for assembling and adjusting the main busbar on site, and the four corners of the cabinet top are equipped with lifting rings for lifting and loading.
  • The protection level of the cabinet is IP30, and users can choose between IP20~IP40 according to the requirements of the usage environment.
Installation & Use

After the product arrives at the place of receipt, first of all, you should check whether the package is intact and undamaged, and notify the relevant departments to find out the reason when you find any problem, and for the product which is not installed immediately, it should be placed in the appropriate place according to the provisions of the normal conditions of use

◆Product Installation

The installation of the product should be carried out according to the installation diagram (see Fig. 2), the foundation channel steel and bolts should be provided by the user, the main busbar should be repaired and leveled at the time of installation of the overlap surface, processed cleanly, coated with neutral petroleum jelly or other measures, and then bolts should be tightened.

◆After installation, the product should be inspected and tested as follows before putting into operation.

  • Check whether the paint on the face of the cabinet is peeling off and whether the inside of the cabinet is dry and clean.
  • Whether the operating mechanism of electrical components is flexible, there should not be stagnation or excessive operating force.
  • Whether the switching of main electrical components is reliable and accurate, and whether the switching of auxiliary contact is reliable and accurate.
  • Is the ratio and polarity of instrument indication and transformer correct?
  • Whether the busbar connection is good, whether the insulation support, mounting parts and accessories are installed firmly and reliably.
  • Whether the auxiliary contact meets the requirements, whether the fuse core specification is correct, whether the setting value of the relay meets the design requirements, and whether the action is accurate.
  • Is the contact point of the circuit in accordance with the requirements of the electrical schematic diagram.
  • Whether the protection circuit system meets the requirements.
  • Insulation resistance shall not be less than 10 megohm when measured by 500 volt megohmmeter.

◆Precautions for use

  • This product is not installed against the wall, single-sided (front) operation, double-sided door maintenance of low-voltage distribution cabinets. The maintenance access and cabinet door of the product must be assessed and qualified professionals can enter or open for operation, inspection and maintenance.
  • Air circuit breaker, after many times of closing and splitting, will make the main contact local burns and produce carbon substances, so that the contact resistance increases, should be regularly on the air circuit breaker according to its instruction manual for maintenance and overhaul.
  • Disconnecting switch is strictly prohibited to open and close with load.

  • Main circuit distribution system diagram and plan layout diagram, rated working voltage, rated working current, protection device setting current and necessary technical parameters.
  • Specification of inlet and outlet cables.
  • Model, specification and quantity of the main electrical components in the switchgear cabinet.
  • If bus bridges or bus ducts are required between switchgear cabinets or in the feeder cabinets, specific requirements such as span, height from ground, etc. should be indicated.
