FAQ
1. What is an adjustable MCCB and how does it differ from a fixed type?
An adjustable MCCB allows you to manually set the rated current and sometimes the short-time delay or instantaneous trip values. This offers flexibility for load protection, especially in dynamic or multi-load systems, unlike fixed MCCBs which have preset values.
2. What current ranges do your adjustable MCCBs cover?
We offer adjustable MCCBs ranging from 63A to 1600A, with common frame sizes including 100AF, 250AF, 400AF, 630AF, 800AF, and 1000AF. Each frame supports different current setting ranges based on application requirements.
3. Can I adjust the settings on site?
Yes, the trip unit is designed to be adjusted by qualified personnel. You can easily set overload protection and, in some models, adjust short-circuit trip thresholds to suit different operational needs.
4. What applications are adjustable MCCBs most suitable for?
They are ideal for industrial installations, motor feeders, main distribution panels, and scenarios where system loads vary or future expansions are expected. They help avoid nuisance tripping while still providing reliable protection.
5. Do you offer both thermal-magnetic and electronic trip units?
Yes. For adjustable MCCBs, we offer two options. Our DLSX series adjustable circuit breakers are equipped with thermal-magnetic trip units, while the DLM1E series adjustable circuit breakers feature electronic trip units. Compared to thermal-magnetic trip units, electronic trip units offer a wider range of settings, higher precision, and advanced protection features such as ground fault protection or communication interfaces.
6. What is the breaking capacity (Icu) of your MCCBs?
Our adjustable MCCBs offer breaking capacities ranging from 25kA up to 100kA at 415V AC, depending on the model and frame size. All meet IEC 60947-2 performance standards.
7. Are your products certified for international export?
Absolutely. We manufacture in full compliance with IEC/EN 60947-2. We can also provide CE or other certifications based on the requirements of the target market.
8. Can you provide technical data sheets?
Yes, we can provide comprehensive datasheets, dimension drawings, wiring diagrams. These can be sent in PDF formats upon request. Please contact our sales team for detailed datasheets (info@derlicn.com).
9. Do you keep adjustable MCCBs in stock?
We maintain inventory for commonly used models like 100A–630A, 3-pole versions with popular settings. For larger frame sizes or specific coil or trip settings, please check stock with our sales team.
10. What’s the typical lead time for production and delivery?
Standard models: 5–10 working days. Customized trip units, OEM labels, or special voltage coils: 15–25 working days. For urgent shipments, we offer expedited production depending on the order size.
11. What is your MOQ for adjustable MCCBs?
We support small quantity trial orders, starting from 1–10 pcs per model. For customized solutions or OEM production, the MOQ generally starts at 100 pcs per configuration.
12. Do you offer OEM/ODM services?
Yes. We provide full OEM/ODM services—logo printing, packaging, casing color, front panel redesign, even custom trip units. We support clients building their own brand in the electrical market.
13. What is your warranty and after-sales policy?
We offer a standard 12-month warranty from the date of shipment. During the warranty period, if any issues arise due to product quality, we will provide free technical support, spare parts, or replacement services based on the assessment results. Additionally, we can offer extended warranty services upon request.
14. What materials are used in your adjustable MCCBs?
We use flame-retardant thermoset casings, high-conductivity copper terminals, silver alloy contacts, and precision-engineered trip mechanisms to ensure product reliability under harsh working conditions.
15. Why choose your company as an MCCB supplier?
We are a trusted manufacturer with 14+ years of experience in exporting low-voltage switchgear. We combine stable quality, competitive pricing, flexible customization, fast response times, and strong R&D capabilities to support your business growth worldwide.
